Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize

In 2022 there were 49 finalists from 644 entries.

In 2020 there were 56 finalists selected from 844 entries.

In 2019, 43 finalists were selected from 634 entries

The Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize, established in 2001, is the only national prize for original, freestanding sculptures of smaller dimensions (up to 80cm). Over 500 entries from Australian and international artists are received annually and approximately 45 finalists' works are exhibited at the historic Woollahra Council Chambers in Double Bay, Sydney, Australia.

Prizes

Three prizes are offered -

  • The Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize: an acquisitive award of $25 000
  • The Special Commendation: a non-acquisitive award of $2000
  • The Viewers' Choice: a non-acquisitive award of $1000
  • Mayor's Award prize of $1,000
