Great idea - Waste as Art provides an opportunity for artists to express their creativity and at the same time recycle items that would normally end up as landfill. Works will be judged on how effectively they address the 'waste-to-resource' concept. This prize is part of the Hunter Region's residents opportunity to look at the issues associated with recycling with more creativity than just leaving the stuff on the nature strip.
