Andor Meszaro Sculpture Prize, for ASV members and those non-members with less than 10 years exhibiting experience.

  • 1st Prize - $1,000 + medallion
  • 2nd Prize - $500

The Margaret Gunnersen William Thomas Hoggan Award for members with more than 10 years exhibiting experience

The Margaret Gunnersen William Hoggan Thomas Award was established in 1985 by Margaret Gunnersen Thomas in memory of her late husband, a stonemason and quarry owner.

  • 1st Prize - $1,000 + medallion
  • 2nd Prize - $500

Entries are open only to financial members and the award is decided by vote of financial ASV members. It is considered by ASV members to be the greatest accolade as it is the sum of the opinions of their peers, colleagues and competitors.

The Tina Wentcher Award and Medallion for members AND non-members with less than 10 years exhibiting experience.

The Tina Wentcher Prize and Medallion is for emerging artists, and is named after the sculptor who bequeathed funds to establish a prize for young sculptors. This has continued with donated funds and for the past 15 years has alternated with the Andor Meszaros Prize. Over the past few years the award has been broadened to include sculptors with less than 10 years exhibiting experience. The ASV encourages non-member emerging artists to submit an entry for this prize.

The Tina Wentcher Award is awarded on alternate years with the Andor Meszaros Sculpture Prize.

Venue: Bourke Place, 600 Bourke Street Melbourne, Victoria.
