Really truly the Victoria Sculpture Prize is on! VICTORIAN SCULPTURE PRIZE 2021 will mark the Closing of the 2021 Archibald Prize Over the weekend of the 12-14th November In excess of 2000 visitors a day are expected to attend the Archibald Prize at the Gippsland Gallery, Port of Sale.
With the excitement of our pending release from restrictions the Victorian Sculpture prize, supported by Wellington Shire Council will be held over what is nearly the final weekend ensuring both Metro and Regional Artists can enter and attend the event.
There are several awards to be won, two aquisitional prizes, of $20.000 and $5000, and smaller prizes for wildlife sculpture of $1000, public prize of $1000 and a youth prize of $250. Entries close on the 11th October and the event is already building local interest with many regional Artists creating works.
Remember to book your accommodation early and enter up to 5 works for the variety of prizes including best endangered wildlife prize and best youth work.
