The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize was founded in 1994. The exhibition and awards are open to applications by emerging, mid-career and established drawing practitioners based anywhere in the UK and internationally. Up to three drawings may be entered by each applicant for consideration by the Selection Panel.

The annual Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2022 exhibition will include in the region of 65 drawings that will be selected by an independent panel of distinguished selectors.

The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize has an established reputation as the UK’s most important annual open exhibition for drawing. Founded in 1994 by Professor Anita Taylor, artist and Dean of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design at the University of Dundee, the annual open exhibition is known for celebrating excellence in contemporary drawing practice, and for championing the role, breadth and value of drawing in creative practice today.

- First Prize: £8,000

- Second Prize:  £5,000

- Student Award: £2,000

- Working Drawing Prize: £2,000
