The Holmes Art Prize is open to any Australian Resident working within any two dimensional (2D) medium, depicting a realistic Australian birdlife scene. Up to forty finalists will be showcased in an exhibition at The Events Centre, Minchinton Street, Caloundra, Sunshine Coast. The winning work will be acquired into the collection of Dr. Garry Holmes.

Sculptures and non-realistic interpretations of birdlife will not be admissible applications.

Prizes

  • The winning entry (acquisitive) receives $15,000
  • Four finalists receive $1,000 each.
  • People's Choice - $1,000
