This prize is held biennially - every even year.

Sculptors are invited to participate in a non-acquisitive exhibition to be held at the harbourside park Sawmillers Reserve, in McMahons Point, Sydney. Sculpture at Sawmillers is a joint event of North Sydney Council and the McMahons Point community.

Note:

  • All middle scale sculptures are accepted (please take into consideration size, weight and bulk for ease of installation, restrictions may apply
  • Sculptures should be weather resistant
  • artists are encouraged to enter pieces which reflect the maritime and timber industries of the area, though this is not a pre-requisite.

  • Major prize (non-acquisitive) - $20,000
  • Highly Commended - $5,000\
  • Emerging Artist Prize - $2,500
  • Poeple's Choice - $3,000
  • Secondary Student Prize - $1,000
