Queer Art Prize Australia (QAPA) is a new non-acquisitive art prize to celebrate LGBTIQ art achievements in Australia. QAPA aims to be the largest LGBTIQ art prize in Australia with selected works to tour pride events across the country. A coffee table book of selected works will also be produced providing a snapshot of current trends in the LGBTIQ artistic community.

A coffee table art book will be produced consisting of selected QAPA 2017 works including the finalist entries. Entry into the 2017 QAPA exhibition does not guarantee inclusion into the book. Entrants submitting work, consent to their images and supplied biographies/artist statements being used in this publication, and no royalties or payment shall be provided to entrants from book sales. Artists selected for exhibition will be provided with a softcover version of the publication with finalists provided with a hardcover version.
