Established in 2008, the annual Port Lincoln Art Prize is celebrating its 10th year. Since it’s launch the prize has grown and developed into a significant award and exhibition for the region. Open to artists nationwide, the prize attracts entries from far and wide. The City of Port Lincoln continues to demonstrate its commitment to local arts with the major award of $5000. This year sees the introduction of a Youth Award category for artist aged under 18 years, through the generous support of the Rotary Club of Port Lincoln.

 

Prizes

  • MAJOR PRIZE—$8500 All open award entries will be eligible for this prize
  • Sculpture Award —$200 All open award entries will be eligible for this prize
  • LOCAL ARTIST PRIZE—$3000 Eyre Peninsula residents entries eligible for this prize
  • Youth Major Award —$500 For work by an artist under 18 years of age
  • Youth Highly Commended Award —$200 For work by an artist under 18 years of age
  • PEOPLES CHOICE PRIZE—$500 To be announced after the close of the exhibition.
