Perth Royal Art Prize for Landscape

In 2022 there were 60 finalists.

In 2019 there were 52 finalists were chosen from 253 entries.

It is the only prize in WA dedicated to the theme of landscape. The Prize is for WA artists only, both regional and metropolitan.

The Royal Agricultural Society of WA is thrilled to announce the return of the Perth Royal Art Prize after a two year hiatus. Entries are now welcome for this sought after Prize which will include a number of new awards this year and an increased prize pool of $26,500.

Aside from the opportunity to show an artist’s work to the general public, the exhibition presents an excellent space for the selected finalists to network; establish new contacts and find new markets for their work. For an artist to be selected to exhibit is a ‘win’ in itself and this exposure can deliver many benefits, including the broad reach of an online sales platform.

The Perth Royal Art Show was established by RASWA in 1974 and it has grown in artistic calibre every year.

Many emerging artists have used the competition to launch their careers and go on to make significant contributions to the arts community in WA and nationally. Exhibited works are a popular attraction at the Perth Royal Show and are available for sale.

Venue: Wilkinson Pavillion Gallery, Claremont Showground, 1 Graylands Road, Clarement, WA 6010

Contact: Email art@raswa.org.au for any additional information.
