Annual international awards to recognize, to exhibit and to reward the accomplishments of Contemporary Artists’ work on or with paper.

The Awards are open to all Artists, with no restrictions of age*, sex, nationality or any other qualifications. Each artist can participate with one or more artworks. It is not a requirement that works be previously unpublished.

Prizes

Five  awards will be bestowed annually: four selected by jury and one  people’s choice award selected by visitor voting during the Parrsboro exhibition.

  • The Nonesuch Best Work Award will be $5000 dollars plus a 3-week residency at Main & Station (Nonesuch Art Centre) in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia
  • L’Usine de Papier Award for the most creative paper construction will be $1000 dollars plus a 2-week residency at Main & Station (Nonesuch Art Centre) in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia
  • The Main & Station Award (200 kilometer award for best work by a local artist) will be 500 dollars and a 2-week residency at Main & Station (Nonesuch Art Centre) in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia
  • The Griffintown Award (Award for best work by a local artist residing on the Island of Montreal) will be 500 dollars and a 2-week residency at Main & Station (Nonesuch Art Centre) in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia
  • The Wellington Church Awards  (People’s Choice Award) will be 500 dollars and a 2-week residency at Main & Station (Nonesuch Art Centre) in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia.  The winner will be determined from a vote by visitors to the Parrsboro exhibition.
