Established to encourage excellence in digital art practices. For this prize, the term 'digital' includes Digital Imaging, Photomedia and related inter-disciplinary areas and is limited to work on paper. The Kinokuniya Digital Art Prize is a non-acquisitive prize and has no set subject theme. It is open exclusively to full time 2nd, 3rd and honours year students. Applicants must currently be enrolled at an art school attached to a University or TAFE in either the ACT or NSW.

The winning entry will receive a $2,000 cash prize. The winning artwork will also be reproduced on the front cover of Kinokuniya's mid-year catalogue.

Judges in 2010: Vince Frost from Frost Design. Joseph Allen Shea from Izrock Pressings will also participate in the shortlist.
