Flinders Rural And Remote Health SA Acquisitive First Nations Art Competition

This year, Flinders University Rural and Remote Health SA is holding a First Nations Art Competition across the regions where its five campuses are located, an exciting new project working with our communities.

This exciting acquisitive competition is free to enter for artists over the age of 16, who identify as First Nations people and reside in one of the following regions: • Murray Mallee/Riverland • Barossa Valley • Murraylands/Murray Bridge • Fleurieu Peninsula/Victor Harbor • Greater Green Triangle

The theme for the competition is Whole Health, Whole of Community aligns with our aim to improve the health of our geographically and culturally diverse communities.

Artists are asked to include one or more of the elements, Land, Water, Bush Medicine or Education in their artwork.

Prizes:

  • Major first prize in the competition is $3,000
  • $4,000 acquisition of winning work
  • the runner up will receive $1,000.
