Nillumbik Prize for Contemporary Art

The Nillumbik Prize for Contemporary Art is a biannual acquisitive art prize open to emerging and established artists working in any medium across Australia. Artworks are to respond to the themes of Place and Space.

Prizes:

  • The acquisitive $20,000 prize 
  • Local Prize, acquisitive, $10,000
  • Mayor's Award, $500
  • People's Choice Award, $500

The Finalist's exhibition to be held at the Barn Gallery, Montsalvat from 30 May to 21 July. The Nillumbik Prize for Contemporary Art is presented by Nillumbik Shire Council in association with Montsalvat.
