The Photographic Awards provide an opportunity for photographers of all ages to exhibit work portraying the life and environment of Mosman Park. Every year the winning entry becomes a part of the Town’s art collection forming a record of the Town’s developing history. It will be easier than ever to be involved in this year’s awards as digital entries can now be submitted. A fee of $12 per entry applies, with a maximum of three entries accepted per person.
The competition has youth categories, open categories, and portfolio categories. Youth categories include Animals + Birds and Open. Open categories include Animals + Birds, Monochrome, Open, and Smartphone. Portfolio Categories include Art and Landscape. An entry in a Portfolio Category requires three images[1]. A Portfolio Review is a written review of a portfolio entry provided by one of the judges.
Fees:
Open Categories Up to 3 entries in each section. $20 for the first entry $30 for two entries $40 for three entries Portfolio Review $25 per review
Eligibiliity
Entries must reflect Mosman Park to be eligible for entry and award.
Prizes
The first prize (acquisitive) of $1500 will be awarded to one overall winner. A total of twelve winning images will be selected to be on display at Rocky Bay for the opening event, which will include an auction of eleven of the photographs with part of the funds being donated to Rocky Bay in support the fantastic services they provide to the Mosman Park and wider community.
