IRIS Award

IRIS is an internationally open award for outstanding portraiture photography. Selected finalists will culminate in a professional group exhibition at the Perth Centre for Photography with cash prizes on offer.

The IRIS Award is an internationally open prize recognising new, outstanding and compelling portraiture. The criteria for selection focuses on portraits that provoke thought, and are reflective of contemporary culture, whilst conceptually challenging conventional notions of portrait photography. All methods including traditional print photography, new technologies and expanded forms of image-making are accepted.

Major Prize - $3,000

Student Prize - $1,000

Judge's Commendation - $500

Fees
The entry fee is $35 for PCP members, $37 for students and $55 for non-members. This entitles entrants to a maximum of three images per entry. 40% commission is applicable on sales.
